Transparent day rates, the same across the region: $3,000 per day for the skid steer mulcher with transport included, or $4,000 per day plus transport for the high horsepower dedicated mulcher. Material over 8 inches always gets the dedicated machine. Solid cedar on the breaks runs at the slower end of a machine’s pace, scattered mesquite on open ground at the faster end.
