Land clearing in Graham, Texas is old cedar and stubborn mesquite, and both take real horsepower. Our high horsepower dedicated mulchers grind the thick-trunk cedar that fills the Young County breaks, our skid steer mulchers handle the flats and fence lines, and the week we spent grinding cedar near Jacksboro is photographed on this page as proof of what we do in this country.
Around Graham, Newcastle, Loving, and Eliasville we handle cedar break clearing, mesquite removal and pasture reclamation, hunting lane and sendero cutting, fence line and right of way clearing, and brush work on lake places toward Possum Kingdom. Everything grinds in place into mulch, so there are no burn piles, and haul off is generally not needed with mulching.
Pricing is straightforward. Skid steer mulchers run $3,000 per day with transport included. High horsepower dedicated mulchers run $4,000 per day plus transport. Photos or onX pins get most Graham quotes done the same day, whether your place is on the Brazos, out toward Newcastle, or up against the Jack County line. Call 512-400-2693 and a project manager will answer, seven days a week.

A lot of land clearing companies rent whatever the equipment yard has that week. We own purpose-built forestry machines and match them to your terrain. Not sure which machine your property needs? Try our cost calculator for an instant answer.
Our high horsepower dedicated mulchers run 300+ HP and chew through heavy cedar and mesquite at a pace no skid steer can match. That is how big tracts get cleared in days instead of weeks. We bring these machines when your material runs bigger than 8 inches in diameter and the property has access for an 11 foot wide machine.
For material up to 8 inches in diameter, our skid steer mulchers fill the gap. Subdivision lots, tree preservation, tight fence lines, and finish work around structures, they get in where the big machines cannot. Low ground pressure protects your topsoil, and they clear selectively around the oaks you want to keep.
The photos on this page are from our extended cedar clearing job near Jacksboro, a week of daily grinding one county from Graham. Day 1, day 2, day 7, we photographed the whole run, and the finished ridges speak for themselves. That is what old cedar takes, and it is work we already know how to price and schedule out here.

Our crew and machines do the work, selectively and cleanly. The mulch stays right where it falls, protecting the soil and feeding the grass. No burn piles, and no haul off needed.
You get open ground, clean sightlines, and land you can actually use again. If your project calls for full site prep, we handle that too.
Every place is different, so price comes down to a few things: acreage, how old and thick the cedar is, what stays, and access. Transport to Young County is quoted up front, so the number you get is the number you pay.
Most companies make you chase a number. Here is ours. The machine we bring depends on the size of your material and the access on your property.

Good communication. Professional. Worked fast but did a thorough job. The big mulcher did a great job of clearing land, including several large trees, and left a nice clean look.

Young County is unincorporated ranch country outside the Graham city limits, and there is no permit office between you and clearing your own brush. The considerations that actually come up are floodplain along the Brazos and its creeks, and lease terms if a hunting outfit runs your ground. We flag anything that needs attention when we quote the job.
Estimates usually happen within a few days of your call. Most residential jobs run one to three days on site, and larger acreage moves at several acres a day with the dedicated mulchers. One local quirk: post oak sand works wet a good deal better than clay does, so we lose fewer days to rain here than crews do east of the Trinity. You get a start window with your quote and a heads up before we roll in.
Skid steer mulchers run $3,000 per day with transport included, for material up to 8 inches in diameter. High horsepower dedicated mulchers run $4,000 per day plus transport, for the old cedar breaks and bigger ranch acreage. Send photos or onX pins and you will usually have a number the same day.
Yes, and we have put in the days to prove it one county over: a week straight of grinding cedar near Jacksboro, with the photos on this page to show for it. Old cedar breaks are exactly what the high horsepower dedicated mulchers were bought for, and Young County has plenty of them.
Mesquite is the other half of Young County. Mulching knocks it flat and puts the pasture back to work immediately, and because mesquite resprouts from the crown, we are straight with you: plan on follow up spraying to hold the gain, or grubbing for smaller counts. We will tell you which fits your place.
Yes. Mature cedar drinks year round and catches rain before it reaches the ground. Clear a cedar draw above your tank and you will see the difference the next wet season: seeps run, tanks hold, and grass takes the ridge back.
Deer lease country responds fast to good clearing. Shooting lanes, senderos, feeder access, and plot clearing ground all cut clean with the mulchers, and mulched lanes green up into feed strips that pull game on their own.
With mulching, nothing needs to leave your property. Everything grinds into a mulch layer that protects the soil and feeds the grass as it breaks down. There are no brush piles waiting on a burn ban, and haul off is generally not needed.
Graham anchors our north Texas loop, and we have worked Young, Jack, and Palo Pinto counties on the same rotations. Most jobs get on the calendar within a couple of weeks.
Yes. Photos, an aerial screenshot, or onX pins with the areas marked will get most Graham quotes done the same day. Mention gates and crossings and we will plan machines accordingly.
