If your place carries an agricultural or wildlife management valuation, brush control usually supports it rather than threatening it, though it is worth a call to the appraisal district before a big change. We flag anything that needs attention when we quote the job.
Estimates usually happen within a few days of your call. Most residential jobs run one to three days on site, and larger acreage moves at several acres a day with the dedicated mulchers. One local quirk: post oak sand works wet a good deal better than clay does, so we lose fewer days to rain here than crews do east of the Trinity. Yes, and it is one of the most useful days you can buy. We cut a corridor wide enough for you or a fence crew to work both sides, take the mesquite and elm out of the wire, and grind it all in place instead of leaving you a windrow to deal with.
We plan for it. Horses need to be moved off the trap we are working and ideally out of sight of the machine, and we will tell you where to put them and when. Turnout and arena clearing is regular work for us, and we leave ground you can turn out on rather than a field of stobs.

There are no brush piles to burn and no haul off trucks to pay for, which is a big part of why mulching costs less than traditional clearing.
