1 Acre Tree Pile Mulching in Austin, Texas

Proudly serving Austin, Texas

A golf course in Austin had been stacking tree debris and brush from its day to day maintenance until the piles became an eyesore. We worked in a tight corner of the property and ground the lot of it down to mulch. One day on site.

Years of maintenance in one pile

Fazio Canyons had been putting its tree and brush debris in the same place for a long time. Grounds crews do this everywhere. Limbs come down, trees get taken out, and it all goes on the pile because there is nowhere else for it to go. Eventually the pile is big enough that it is a problem of its own.

Hauling that volume off is expensive and burning it is not an option on a working course.

Grinding it where it stood

The Tigercat M726G worked the pile down on the spot. Mulching in place means no haul off trucks, no burn permit, and no material leaving the property. What is left is mulch on the ground instead of a wall of brush.

A live golf course is a tight place to work

The pile sat in a confined area with a working course around it, so there was no room for a machine to swing wide and the timeline was tight because play does not stop for us. Golf courses also care a great deal about where the mulch goes. Careful positioning and a controlled discharge kept the material where it belonged.
