Ten acres in Elgin taken down to open ground for a commercial build. This was a clear cut rather than selective work, so the brush, the volunteer trees and the understory all came out and the tract was left open and workable for the trades that follow.

Elgin sits in the Post Oak Savannah, where sandy loam runs over clay and post oak, yaupon and greenbrier come back hard on any ground left alone. On a commercial site that matters after the machine leaves, because whatever is left in the ground is what comes back first.
The corridor crossing this tract is a live LCRA right of way, and the job requirement was simple and absolute: no contact with the energized lines. That set where the machine could sit and how high the head could come up, so the ground along the corridor was taken slower and more deliberately than the open acreage.
6 Acre Selective Forestry Mulching in Elgin, Texas

This one was a pasture buy back. Six acres east of Elgin had closed in with yaupon and volunteer brush under a canopy of post oaks, and the owner wanted the grass back without losing the shade. The rule on the ground was simple: anything under six inches in diameter goes, anything bigger stays.
The Weiler M860A worked the understory at ground level for two days. Nothing was hauled off and nothing was burned. What was standing brush on the first morning was a mulch layer by the second afternoon, and that layer holds moisture and feeds the soil while the grass comes back.

Selective work only. Every tree over six inches in diameter had to stay, so the machine worked around the oaks instead of through them.
