One local quirk: rock, not mud, sets the pace here. Limestone sits close to grade, so we plan around what is under the topsoil more than around the forecast. That is the signature Bosque County job and we have the receipts for it, including 15 acres of solid cedar outside Hico. The mulchers grind whole stands in place, and the limestone ground underneath stays put instead of getting scraped bare.
