For material up to 8 inches in diameter, our skid steer mulchers fill the gap. This is unincorporated ranch country, and Mills County has no permit office between you and clearing your own brush. The considerations that actually come up are floodplain along the Colorado and its creeks, county road rules about mud and gravel, and lease terms if a hunting outfit runs your ground. Honest answer: mulching knocks mesquite back hard but mesquite resprouts from the crown, so it is management rather than eradication. Grinding puts the pasture back into production immediately and makes follow up spraying cheap and easy. For permanent removal on smaller counts, grubbing individual trees is the better tool, and we will tell you straight which your place needs.
