Bee Cave sits on the canyon country between Austin and Lake Travis, and out here the land itself is the luxury. Steep juniper covered slopes, shallow limestone, and live oaks that predate the highway. The most common call we get is view restoration: Ashe juniper grows fast enough to swallow a Hill Country horizon in a decade, and taking it out selectively brings back the view, cuts the fire load on the canyon, and hands the oaks back their water. This is precision work on expensive ground, and it is exactly what our low ground pressure machines are built for.

Our high horsepower dedicated mulchers run 300+ HP and chew through heavy cedar and mesquite at a pace no skid steer can match. That is how big tracts get cleared in days instead of weeks. We bring these machines when your material runs bigger than 8 inches in diameter and the property has access for an 11 foot wide machine.
For material up to 8 inches in diameter, our skid steer mulchers fill the gap. Subdivision lots, tree preservation, tight fence lines, and finish work around structures, they get in where the big machines cannot. Low ground pressure protects your topsoil, and they clear selectively around the oaks you want to keep.

Bee Cave takes its trees seriously, and so do we. The city has tree preservation rules, and removing larger protected trees typically requires a permit, while routine cedar and brush clearing usually does not. Along the Lake Travis shoreline, LCRA considerations can come into play, and outside the city limits in western Travis County requirements loosen considerably. We sort out exactly what applies to your property during the free walk through, before any work starts.

No. Bee Cave canyons are steep, rocky, and covered in juniper, and that is normal working ground for us. We match the machine to the slope and clear without tearing up the hillside or triggering erosion.
Yes, and on juniper covered canyon lots it matters. Thinning cedar and ladder fuels around your home is one of the most effective wildfire protections available, and mulching does it cleanly, without bare scraped earth.
With mulching, nothing needs to leave your property. Everything grinds into a mulch layer that protects the soil, holds moisture, and feeds the grass as it breaks down. There are no brush piles to burn and no haul off trucks to pay for, which is a big part of why mulching costs less than traditional clearing.
