Red Oak land is worth more cleared, and everyone from the estate lot owner to the commercial developer knows it. What most people do not know is that the clearing method matters as much as the clearing itself. Dozer work on blackland clay leaves ruts, piles, and a burn permit problem inside a growing city. Forestry mulching grinds the brush where it stands, leaves the clay structure alone, and finishes with a mulch layer that looks intentional instead of scraped. We clear residential acreage selectively around the oaks that earn these towns their names, open commercial pads to the survey line, and clean creek bottoms without destabilizing the banks. Transparent day rates, a documented job one county west, and a DFW loop our machines already run.

A lot of land clearing companies rent whatever the equipment yard has that week. We own purpose-built forestry machines and match them to your terrain. Not sure which machine your property needs? Try our cost calculator for an instant answer.
Our high horsepower dedicated mulchers run 300+ HP and chew through heavy cedar and mesquite at a pace no skid steer can match. That is how big tracts get cleared in days instead of weeks. We bring these machines when your material runs bigger than 8 inches in diameter and the property has access for an 11 foot wide machine.
For material up to 8 inches in diameter, our skid steer mulchers fill the gap. Subdivision lots, tree preservation, tight fence lines, and finish work around structures, they get in where the big machines cannot. Low ground pressure protects your topsoil, and they clear selectively around the oaks you want to keep.
We documented the whole thing: our 3 acre selective homesite clearing project at Cleburne shows a homesite on the southern edge of DFW cleared selectively in a day, shade trees kept and everything else gone. The photos on this page are from that same work, and Red Oak sits on the same loop.

Send photos and property details for a fast quote, or meet us on-site and we will walk it with you. Either way you get a firm number, free.
Our crew and machines do the work, selectively and cleanly. The mulch stays right where it falls, protecting the soil and feeding the grass. No burn piles, and no haul off needed.
You get open ground, clean sightlines, and land you can actually use again. If your project calls for full site prep, we handle that too.
Every property prices a little differently. An open blackland lot is one day, a creek bottom grown shut is another. Send us your address, lot size, and a few photos and we can usually put a real number on it the same day.
Most companies make you chase a number. Here is ours. The machine we bring depends on the size of your material and the access on your property.

Brandon from Pierce Land Clearing came out and inspected my lot. He was very professional and easy-going. No pressure. The work was performed quickly and the end result was neat considering it was land clearing.

Unincorporated Ellis County acreage has no permit office between you and clearing your own brush. Inside the Red Oak city limits, check with the city before grading, working near Red Oak Creek, or clearing on a platted lot, and HOA sections carry their own rules. We will tell you straight what applies before anything is scheduled.
Estimates usually happen within a few days of your call. Most residential jobs run one to three days on site, and larger acreage moves at several acres a day with the dedicated mulchers. One local quirk: the blackland clay here gets greasy after rain, so we watch the forecast and schedule around it rather than tearing up your ground. You get a start window with your quote and a heads up before we roll in.
Our pricing is a transparent day rate: $3,000 per day for the skid steer mulcher with transport included, or $4,000 per day plus transport for the high horsepower dedicated mulcher. Open blackland lots run at the fast end of the pace, grown shut creek bottoms at the slow end. Send photos and acreage and we will tell you which machine and how many days before anything is scheduled.
On unincorporated Ellis County land there is no permit office between you and clearing your own brush. Inside city limits, check with the city before grading or working close to creeks and easements, and check your deed restrictions if you are in a subdivision. We can talk through it on the phone before you commit to anything.
Material size decides it. Anything over 8 inches in diameter always gets the high horsepower dedicated mulcher. Under 8 inches on smaller properties, the skid steer mulcher fills the gap. Most Red Oak lots fit the skid steer, larger tracts and commercial pads get the dedicated machine.
It gets ground into mulch right where it falls. The mulch layer protects your topsoil, holds moisture, and breaks down into the ground. No burn piles, no haul-off trucks, and nothing left for you to deal with.
Yes, and most customers should. We flag or walk the keep trees with you first, then mulch everything else around them. Selective work takes a little longer than a full clear cut, which is why the two price differently, but you keep the shade and the property value.
Estimates usually happen within a few days of your call, and most residential jobs run one to three days on site. We run established loops through this part of Texas, so transport to Ellis County is routine for us, not a special trip.
Neither. We clear half acre homesites and we clear tracts in the hundreds of acres, with a documented 127 acre public utility job on our books. The machines and crew scale to the work.
Yes. Mulching is the quiet option: no burn piles, no smoke, no convoy of haul off trucks, and the work is usually done in a day or two. For platted lots we stay inside your survey, protect the trees the city cares about, and leave a finish that looks like landscaping, not demolition.
Every job we publish carries the acreage, the machines, the days on site and what it actually cost. 45 projects documented across Texas so far.
