What Customers Say About Working With Us

Rated 5 out of 5

Taylor was very professional from start to finish. Great to deal with and on time. Equipment was top notch. We had a few challenges to overcome and he tackled them head on instead of backing away. Only company I will call for future land clearing needs.

Never easy to write a big check, but well worth it. After two days they completely transformed a ten acre holly-choked mess into an open and inviting forest. Taylor bid the job and recommended the larger dozer-sized forestry mulcher.

Amazing service and final product. Hunter, Jonathan and Dustin were the operators for both the tree mulcher and the rock mulcher. Their work completely transformed my property. My only regret is that I did not have it done sooner.

Permits in Blue Ridge

Rural Collin County clearing on your own land needs no permit, and agricultural work is exempt from most regulation in Texas. Inside Blue Ridge city limits, clearing tied to a build runs through the normal permitting process. If your place carries an agricultural exemption, keeping it is worth a call to the county appraisal district before you change how the ground is used.

How Long Does It Take?

Estimates usually happen within a few days of your call. Most residential jobs run one to three days on site, and larger acreage moves at several acres a day with the dedicated mulchers. One local quirk: the blackland clay here gets greasy after rain, so we watch the forecast and schedule around it rather than tearing up your ground. You get a start window with your quote and a heads up before we roll in.

Blue Ridge Land Clearing FAQs

Priced by the machine day. A high horsepower mulcher is $4,000 per day plus transport, a skid steer mulcher is $3,000 per day with transport included, and dozer or excavator work is $3,000 per day plus transport. One day minimum on every machine. Most jobs around Blue Ridge are one or two days.

Fence lines and the entrance, in that order. A clean fence line makes a place read as maintained from the road, and it is the cheapest acreage per dollar we clear. Opening the drive and the frontage does the rest. Clearing the whole tract rarely pays for itself at sale and we will say so.

Yes. Old push piles grind faster than standing timber because the material is already down, and it saves you a burn permit and a weather window. Nothing gets hauled off.

Yes, and it matters here. Clearing fits best between cuttings or after the last one, and the ground has to be dry enough to carry a machine without leaving ruts a mower will find later. Give us your calendar and we will book to it.

On rural Collin County land you own, generally no, and agricultural work is exempt from most regulation in Texas. Inside the Blue Ridge city limit, clearing tied to a build goes through normal permitting. Check before you clear inside the limit.

From the crown, yes, if it is only mulched. Mesquite resprouts from below the soil line, so on ground you want back in production properly the crown has to come out, which is dozer or excavator work rather than a mulching head. We will tell you which your ground needs.

Blackland clay is the reason we ask. Working saturated ground tears ruts that outlast the job and does not clear any faster. If your place is soaked we will tell you to wait rather than take the deposit and make a mess.

Yes, along with the rest of Collin County. Transport is a written line on the quote reflecting the distance.

It is mulched in place and left as a layer on the soil, which holds ground through a hard rain and slows what tries to come back. No hauling, no burning, no disposal fees.
