Eco-Friendly Land Clearing and Forestry Mulching in Houston, Texas

Professional land clearing in Houston, Texas offers significant advantages for homeowners, developers, and landowners  including brush removal, underbrush clearing, tree removal, and stump grinding. Our mission is to help clients select the most effective and sustainable land-clearing methods. Our specialty, forestry mulching, provides a cost-effective, eco-friendly solution that prepares your land while preserving soil health and encouraging long-term growth.

Many people think land clearing means bringing in heavy equipment to push everything over and burn the debris. While it may be quick, this method often results in prolonged burn times, soil disruption, and unnecessary damage. At Pierce Land Clearing, we focus on forestry mulching, leaving behind a nutrient-rich organic layer that restores the soil, promotes healthy vegetation, and supports balanced land development.

Costs vary depending on the size of the land, terrain difficulty, and the amount of vegetation. Contact us for a free estimate tailored to your project.

We use eco-conscious techniques such as forestry mulching, which clears land while leaving behind nutrient-rich mulch to promote soil health.

Permit requirements depend on local regulations and property zoning. We can help guide you through any necessary permits for your project.

The timeline depends on the project’s size and complexity. Smaller projects may take a day or two, while larger ones can take a week or more.

No you cannot forestry mulch and leave the stumps underground where a slab foundation will go.  For this we generally bring in a dozer or excavator to remove the trees and rootballs and mulch them away from the foundation areas.

Our smaller skid steer mulcher is limited to 10 inches and diameter. The larger high horsepower mulcher can take down any sized tree.

Smaller jobs with smaller trees (under 2 acres and trees smaller than 10 inches in diameter) are best suited for our skid steer mulchers. Larger trees and projects over 2 acres are best suited for our high horsepower dedicated mulchers

No, burning is not required or encouraged after we mulch your property. The mulch bed is spread and left behind to decompose and is great for the soil.
